- Develop and design drainage systems, stormwater networks, flood control structures, and erosion/sedimentation control measures.
- Perform advanced hydrologic and hydraulic modeling using tools such as HEC-HMS, HEC-RAS, StormCAD, Civil 3D, SWMM, or equivalent.
- Prepare engineering plans, profiles, cross-sections, detail sheets, and technical specifications.
- Conduct site assessments, field inspections, and data collection to support design development.
- Prepare hydrology/hydraulics reports, drainage impact studies, technical memos, and design documentation for permitting and approvals.
- Assist in responding to regulatory agencies, clients, and internal reviewers.
- Maintain organized and complete project records.
- Ensure all designs and outputs adhere to local, national, and international standards, guidelines, and regulatory requirements.
- Review and validate calculations, drawings, and reports prepared by junior engineers and CAD technicians.
- Identify design risks and propose mitigation strategies or alternative solutions.
