Job Summary: The Senior Director of Sales will be the primary point of contact for the organization, leading all sales initiatives and programs. This individual will work closely with Partner leaders to drive the growth of the sales team by collaborating with internal Sales Leaders to provide recommendations, proposals, and innovative ideas. As the Sales Expert for the team, the Senior Director will ensure the implementation of the best practices and cutting-edge techniques.
Key Responsibilities:
- Leadership and Strategy: Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve organizational goals.
- Collaboration: Partner with the client and operations Sales Leaders to provide expert recommendations, innovative proposals, and strategic ideas.
- Sales Expertise: Act as the Sales Expert for the team, ensuring best practices and cutting-edge techniques are implemented.
- Performance Management: Monitor and analyze sales performance metrics to identify areas for improvement.
- Market Analysis: Conduct market research to identify new opportunities and stay ahead of industry trends.
- Client Engagement: Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients and stakeholders.
- Reporting: Prepare and present regular reports on sales performance to senior management.
- Tactical Direction:
- Set the tactical direction of the sales efforts in the short and medium term.
- Develop market approaches for all markets and segments.
- Create action plans and follow up for each VP of Business Development.
- Continuously evaluate the success of the above approaches.
- Recommend incentive schemes to align the sales effort.
- Provide on-time and accurate reporting of commercial activities of the company.
- Achieve Targets:
- Achieve targets for revenue, profitability, and sales growth.
- Increase market share in existing markets and maximize new business opportunities.
- Develop budgets and monitor distributors performance to ensure annual budgets are reached.
- Identify and assist in planning for key marketing events such as symposiums, exhibitions, and conferences.
- Act as an ambassador and role model for Qualfon's business.
- Determine the need for new/amended services to complement the company's portfolio or to fulfill the needs of existing or new customers.
- Champion such service development internally.
- Ensure market trends and up-to-date market intelligence are sourced into the company to form part of the decision background.
Requirements:
- Education: Bachelor's Degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field; MBA preferred but not required.
- Experience: Minimum of 7 years in sales within a Telco campaign, including at least 5 years in a leadership role. Extensive experience in the BPO industry is required.
