Senior DevOps Engineer

About the job

• Automate and enhance the end-to-end release process, ensuring smooth and error-free software deployments.
• Monitor and troubleshoot release processes, proactively identifying and resolving bottlenecks.
• Design, build, and maintain scalable CI/CD pipelines using modern DevOps tools.
• Collaborate closely with Development, QA, Database, and Operations teams to coordinate build schedules and optimize release cycles.
• Implement and manage monitoring tools to ensure application health, performance, and uptime.

Required Skills

• Minimum 4 years of experience in DevOps, Site Reliability Engineering, or Platform Engineering roles.
• Strong proficiency in CI/CD tools such as Jenkins and GitLab CI for automating build, test, and deployment processes.
• Experience with source code management tools (GitHub, GitLab) and branching strategies.
• Proficiency with Linux operating systems, shell scripting, and Python.
• Experience executing DDL and DML scripts in PostgreSQL and Oracle database systems.
• Hands-on experience with Elasticsearch for logging and monitoring.
• Familiarity with monitoring tools such as Zabbix, Nagios, and PRTG.
• Hands-on experience with Docker for containerizing applications and managing microservices-based environments.
• Experience with container orchestration technologies such as Kubernetes is preferred.
• Experience with GitOps workflows and tools, including Flux and ArgoCD, for automated and declarative deployments is preferred.
