As a DevOps Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining CI/CD pipelines to streamline software integration and deployment. You will build and release new solutions, automate workflows, and monitor software builds to ensure efficient and reliable delivery. Collaborating with global teams, you will support development, QA, and operations to optimize build processes and maintain high system availability. This role requires expertise in CI/CD tools, version control, scripting, and problem-solving in a fast-paced environment.
About Your Role:
- Design and develop code that integrates various applications within our build pipeline.
- Engineer and release new solutions.
- Maintain and monitor software builds.
- Design and implement Continuous Integration & Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) pipelines.
- Support globally distributed teams.
- Track problems, resolutions, and fixes throughout the release process.
- Create detailed, step-by-step documentation of build and release procedures, ensuring compliance with standards and fostering company knowledge base growth.
- Collaborate with the Quality Assurance team to ensure the final version meets organizational standards.
- Coordinate build schedules between Development, Database, QA, and Operations.
- Collaborate with all areas of application delivery to ensure the build/deploy process meets business requirements.
About You:
- Minimum of 4 years of relevant work experience.
- Proficiency with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, Maven, SVN, GIT, etc.
- Excellent time-management skills and commitment to meeting deadlines.
- Proficiency with database technologies (e.g., Oracle, SQL) and programming languages (e.g., Java, C#, Angular).
- Proficiency with Linux operating systems and shell scripting, as well as Python.
- Preferred: Well-rounded experience with multiple operating systems, web technologies, and test environments.
- Open to working on shifting schedules, including weekends, holidays, and evening shifts.
- At least two years of college or university education or equivalent experience.
