Senior Developer (Oracle SQL, Java Spring Boot)

We are looking for a Senior Developer with strong Oracle SQL and Java Spring Boot expertise to design, develop, maintain, and support enterprise applications. In this role, you will work across Oracle Database, backend services, and web applications, including existing and legacy systems such as test-measurement platforms and Salesforce-integrated applications.

Key responsibilities:

• Design, develop, maintain, and support enterprise applications across database, backend, and web layers
• Build Java applications and REST APIs using Spring Boot
• Write, analyze, optimize, and troubleshoot complex Oracle SQL queries
• Develop business logic, service-layer components, and Oracle Database integrations
• Diagnose application issues, analyze existing code, debug production incidents, and implement reliable solutions
• Consume and produce REST APIs, including integrations with third-party platforms
• Contribute to source control, code reviews, testing, deployment, and Agile sprint delivery
• Support CI/CD pipelines and branching strategies
• Maintain and enhance legacy applications while contributing to modernization and technical-debt reduction initiatives

Required qualifications:

• At least 5 years of software development experience with hands-on delivery across Java and Oracle Database
• Strong Oracle SQL skills, including complex joins, subqueries, aggregations, and data-intensive operations
• Solid experience developing Java applications and REST APIs using Spring Boot
• Strong understanding of Oracle Database, relational data models, database objects, and application-to-database integrations
• Experience troubleshooting applications and resolving production issues across multiple application layers
• Experience with REST APIs and API authentication patterns, including OAuth2 and JWT
• Familiarity with the software development lifecycle, source control, code reviews, testing, deployment, and Agile delivery
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and branching strategies

Preferred qualifications:

• Experience supporting and modernizing legacy applications
• Experience with React, Next.js, and modern JavaScript frameworks
• Experience developing and maintaining Oracle APEX applications

Location: Mandaluyong
Work setup: Hybrid - 3 days onsite, 2 days work from home
Shift: Mid shift, 2:00 PM-11:00 PM
