Role Overview
Responsible for the end-to-end development, customization, integration, support, and optimization of enterprise technology platforms, including ServiceNow, automation solutions, AI-enabled capabilities, and custom-developed applications. The role combines development, implementation, and operational support to deliver scalable and efficient business solutions.
Key Responsibilities
ServiceNow Development & Support
- Develop, configure, and maintain ServiceNow modules (ITSM, ITOM, ITBM, HRSD, and related applications)
- Create and manage Business Rules, Script Includes, Client Scripts, UI Policies, and Flow Designer workflows
- Build and maintain integrations using REST/SOAP APIs and IntegrationHub
- Implement ServiceNow AI capabilities such as Predictive Intelligence, Virtual Agent, and AI Search
- Perform troubleshooting, bug fixes, performance tuning, and root cause analysis
- Provide Level 2 and Level 3 production support
- Support platform upgrades, patching, testing, and deployments
Automation & Integration
- Design and implement business process automation solutions
- Develop system integrations across enterprise platforms
- Optimize workflows for efficiency, scalability, and compliance
- Support intelligent automation initiatives
AI & Intelligent Solutions
- Integrate AI services and capabilities into enterprise applications
- Support AI-driven workflows and automation enhancements
- Implement prompt-based and rule-based AI solutions
- Ensure responsible and compliant AI adoption
Custom Application Development
- Design and develop custom applications and modules when required
- Build backend services, APIs, middleware, and user interfaces
- Apply secure coding standards and best practices
- Conduct testing, debugging, and performance optimization
Governance & Operations
- Ensure system availability and SLA compliance
- Follow security, compliance, and change management standards
- Maintain technical documentation
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams and business stakeholders
Qualifications
- 6+ years of experience in enterprise application or platform development
- Strong ServiceNow development expertise (JavaScript, Glide API, Flow Designer, IntegrationHub)
- Experience with API development and system integrations
- Knowledge of automation tools and workflow orchestration
- Experience in custom application development (backend and/or frontend)
- Exposure to AI-enabled solutions or ServiceNow AI capabilities
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
- ServiceNow certifications or relevant technical certifications are an advantage
