Job Title: Fortran Application Engineer

Location: Mandaluyong City or Cebu

Work Setup: Hybrid (2x in week office)

Shift Schedule: Morning Shift (8 AM 6 PM)

Position Type: Contractual

As a Database Administrator, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining databases to ensure optimal performance and reliability. Your typical day will involve installing database management systems, developing procedures for daily maintenance, and resolving any issues that arise. You will collaborate with various teams to ensure that database solutions meet the needs of the organization and contribute to the overall success of projects.

Roles & Responsibilities:

- Expected to be an SME.

- Collaborate and manage the team to perform.

- Responsible for team decisions.

- Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions.

- Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams.

- Monitor database performance and implement optimizations as necessary.

- Ensure data integrity and security through regular audits and updates.

- Develop and maintain documentation related to database configurations and procedures.

Professional & Technical Skills:

- Required Skill: Expert proficiency in Database Administration.

- Additional Must to Have Skills: Proficiency in AWS Administration.

- Strong understanding of database design principles and best practices.

- Experience with database backup and recovery strategies.

- Familiarity with performance tuning and optimization techniques.

- Knowledge of SQL and database query languages.
