About the Role:
We are looking for a Senior Data Scientist to lead and execute complex data science projects that drive business impact. This role involves designing and deploying advanced machine learning models, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and mentoring junior data professionals. You will play a key role in transforming data into actionable insights that improve operations, reduce costs, and increase revenue.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead data science projects from planning to deployment, ensuring scalability and reliability
- Work closely with business units to identify opportunities for data-driven solutions
- Collect, clean, and analyze large datasets; build predictive and classification models
- Design and implement machine learning algorithms and advanced analytics solutions
- Develop dashboards and visualizations to communicate insights to stakeholders
- Mentor and guide junior team members in data science and AI best practices
- Support risk assessment and system security measures in collaboration with ICT teams
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, or related field (Master's preferred)
- Experience: 34 years in a similar role with strong expertise in machine learning and predictive modeling
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in Python and SQL
- Experience with BI tools (Tableau, Power BI, QlikSense)
- Familiarity with big data technologies (Hadoop, Spark)
- Advanced statistical analysis and data visualization skills
- Certifications (Preferred): EDA, Deep Learning & AI, Certified Analytics Professional
