Note: This is a project-based engagement with the possibility of extension beyond the initial 6-month term, depending on project requirements and business needs.

We are seeking a Senior Data Engineer with a specialization in Looker (LookML) to lead the frontend and data modeling layer. Your mission is to transform raw GCP data into actionable insights for our clients.

The core of this role involves managing a complex, multi-tenant Looker environment. You will

maintain the LookML layer that uses dynamic properties to route users to their specific BigQuery datasets, ensuring that our one-to-many dashboard architecture is secure, scalable, and lightning-fast.

Required Skills & Experience:

● Looker/LookML: Expert-level experience building complex models and managing Looker instances.

● Version Control: Managing branches and code repositories for models, dashboards, and metrics.

● Advanced SQL: Mastery of SQL, specifically for Google BigQuery (window functions, nested/repeated fields).

● Multi-tenancy: Experience managing data access and security filters for multiple external clients within a single BI platform.

● Data Governance: Knowledge of how to manage Liquid variables or user attributes in Looker to drive dynamic content.

● User Administration: Experience managing Looker groups, roles, and users, including custom attributes for each.

● GCP Knowledge: General understanding of GCP resource structures to better interpret the incoming data.
