What you will do:
- Develop and prepare SQL and PL/SQL scripts
- Create database/data mart designs suitable for robust repositories
- Develop and optimize SQL objects and scripts
- Development and maintenance of ETL jobs / transformations including access via APIs
- Development and maintenance of big data projects
- Maintenance and monitoring of the existing developed application. (ex. ETL Servers)
- Develop business intelligence reports and dashboards for company-wide reporting
- Maintain and monitor BI applications (OBIEE, Power, and Tableau)
- Provide support to Software Development Life cycle.
- Provide technical analysis in cooperation with business analysts.
- Prepare various code designs and ensure efficient implementation of same.
What you need to have:
- At least 7 years of working experience in Business Intelligence and/ or Big Data technologies
- At least 7 years solid working experience with ETL Tool (Oracle Golden Gate or Pentaho is a plus), Oracle SQL,Impala/Hive/Spark Sql via HUE or Jupyter, Python or Scala
- Experienced in Databricks and Snowflake
- Knowledgeable with UNIX based systems
- At least 3 years experience with Hadoop or any Big data System
- Highly experienced with data warehouse and ETL concepts
- Highly experienced with SQL tuning and performance optimization
- Highly experienced with SQL and/or Oracle PL/SQL
- Experienced with any of the following BI platforms: OBIEE 11g/12c, Microsoft Power BI, Tableau
- Experienced with Big Data Development (spec. Python Scripting)
- Experienced with data analysis, data modeling, and database design
- Experienced with software development lifecycle
- Knowledgeable with documentation
- Knowledgeable with ticketing systems
- Knowledgeable with Git
- Knowledgeable with UNIX-based systems
