Role Overview:
As a Senior Data Analyst, you'll play a central role in shaping how Xpress uses data to make smarter decisions. You'll partner with cross-functional teams to define key metrics, run deep-dive analysis, design experiments, and help build the foundations for intelligent decision-making at scale.
This role is ideal for someone with strong analytical instincts, stakeholder-facing experience, and a desire to use data to improve real-world operations and product experiences. As Xpress grows, this role may evolve into a lead or domain-specialist path within Xpress AI.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Analytics & Insights
- Conduct in-depth analysis across areas like pricing, incentives, growth, fulfillment, and driver behavior.
- Translate data into actionable insights that shape strategic and tactical decisions.
- Partner with stakeholders to define key metrics and understand performance drivers.
2. Experimentation & Product Support
- Design and analyze A/B tests and pilots to evaluate new features or policies.
- Build tools and dashboards to monitor the health of key systems and experiments.
- Contribute to product roadmaps by validating hypotheses and surfacing opportunities.
3. Data Visualization & Communication
- Build clean, scalable dashboards in tools like Looker or Tableau.
- Present findings clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Promote a data-informed culture across product, growth, operations, and leadership.
Ideal Candidate:
- 4+ years of experience in analytics, preferably in a product-led or operational tech environment.
- Strong proficiency inSQL, with experience inPythonor R a strong plus.
- Proficiency in BI tools likePowerBI.
- Expertise in dashboarding tools like Looker,Tableau, or similar.
- Solid understanding of experimentation frameworks and interpreting A/B test results.
- Great communicator with a strong sense for product and business context.
- Experience working cross-functionally with product managers, engineers, and business teams.
