What You'll Do
- Develop and maintain healthy and productive internal and external relationships to facilitate the delivery of client's strategy and objectives.
- Enhance and maintain an existing reporting suite and assist the users to utilise and interpret the results.
- Develop and assist with a broad range of statistical and financial modelling
- Contribute to the development and monitoring of the various scheme performance metrics and operational processes and identify and report on performance lead indicators.
- Drive continuous improvement and innovation by providing recommendations to improve current processes including: methodologies, reporting, monitoring, performance indicators and documentation.
- Collect, organize and disseminate information about data with attention to detail and accuracy.
- Develop and execute complex SAS/SQL scripts and analysis using R, PowerBI, SAS and Excel, that interrogates data, ensuring requirements/business rules/controls are thoroughly tested.
- Develop and implement data management/data quality techniques to assure and assess data for completeness, reasonableness, accuracy and consistency.
- Provide analysis and prepare outcomes using data from different business claims systems.
- Handle multiple concurrent reports/projects effectively with varying tasks and priorities with minimal supervision.
- Assist relevant departments on all actuarial and business analysis requirements.
- Prepare actuarial/statistical and financial reports essential to management.
Key Criteria
- Bachelor degree in the field of actuarial science, statistics or mathematics
- Minimum 5 years experience in a similar work capacity.
- Minimum 5 to 7 years of solid SAS/SQL and experience.
- Strong analytical skills with a demonstrated ability to analyse business processes and workflows
- Proficiency with SAS, R, PowerBI and Excel analysis and reporting tools.
- Proven ability to work under pressure with minimal supervision.
- Demonstrated excellent interpersonal skills
- Excellent organisational ability including the use of effective time management
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Strong attention to detail.
Work setup
- Manila (BGC, Taguig): Australian hours (6:00 AM–3:00 PM PHT) with a hybrid setup (2 days onsite, 3 days remote)
