Senior Cybersecurity Engineer

Role Overview

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Cybersecurity Engineer with 8+ years of progressive

experience in cybersecurity engineering and network security operations. The role focuses on the

design, implementation, and support of global network and border security infrastructure, with

strong emphasis on firewall technologies, Zscaler, remote access, proxy services, secure web

gateways, VPN solutions, and security architecture. The position serves as a technical lead

supporting a multinational environment with 5,000+ users, ensuring secure, resilient, and scalable

network connectivity across global operations.

Cybersecurity Architecture & Engineering

• Design, implement, and support global network and border security solutions aligned with cybersecurity strategy.

• Lead security architecture initiatives focusing on firewall technologies, secure web gateways, proxy services, remote access (including Zscaler), VPN, and zero■trust models.

• Provide technical ownership of enterprise security infrastructure ensuring compliance with security standards and best practices.

Network Security & Infrastructure

• Design and support enterprise■scale network environments including routing, switching, MPLS/VPN, WLAN, IPS, and cloud security platforms.

• Manage firewalls, perimeter security controls, load balancing, WAN acceleration, and QoS.

• Ensure secure and optimized data flow across global WAN and border networks.

Project Leadership & Delivery

• Act as technical lead for complex cybersecurity and network initiatives.

• Perform requirements gathering, solution design, risk assessment, and detailed technical documentation.

• Lead end■to■end project execution while ensuring alignment with security, performance, and business requirements.

Operations & Support

• Provide advanced operational support, troubleshooting, and optimization of security infrastructure.

• Collaborate with SOC, network operations, and cloud teams to maintain a strong security posture.

• Support continuous improvement initiatives for monitoring, alerting, and security tooling.

Required Experience & Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in cybersecurity engineering and network security operations.

• 8+ years designing enterprise■scale networks including routing, switching, MPLS/VPN, WLAN, IPS, cloud security, and firewalls.

• Experience supporting multinational environments with 5,000+ users.

• Hands■on expertise in firewall technologies, Zscaler or equivalent secure access solutions, VPN, proxy services, and secure web gateways.

Technical Expertise

• Deep understanding of network security architecture and infrastructure.

• Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, switching, routing, and directory services.

• Experience designing secure hybrid and cloud network environments.
