HRIS Analyst (Oracle PeopleSoft HCM)

About the Opportunity
We're seeking an experienced HRIS Analyst to support a leading U.S.-based organization as a key member of their HR Technology team. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys owning complex HR systems, collaborating across multiple business functions, and driving technology improvements that directly impact employees and leadership.
You'll serve as the primary functional expert for the organization's Oracle PeopleSoft HCM environment, partnering with HR, Payroll, Talent Management, Finance, IT, and development teams to ensure the platform remains optimized, compliant, and aligned with business objectives.
This is a high-impact position with significant ownership—not simply a support role.
What You'll Do
As the HRIS Analyst, you will:
- Lead HRIS initiatives from planning through implementation and post-launch support
- Administer and optimize the Oracle PeopleSoft HCM platform
- Partner with HR, Payroll, Talent, Finance, and IT stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver system enhancements
- Coordinate system upgrades, testing, deployments, and release management activities
- Troubleshoot complex HRIS issues and work closely with technical developers to implement solutions
- Develop advanced reports, dashboards, and analytics to support business decisions
- Maintain system security, governance, and data integrity
- Identify opportunities to automate and improve HR processes through technology
- Ensure HR systems remain compliant with organizational policies and regulatory requirements
- Create and maintain system documentation, process documentation, and user guides
- Support strategic HR technology roadmap initiatives
What We're Looking ForRequired Qualifications
- 5+ years of HRIS experience
- Strong experience administering Oracle PeopleSoft HCM
- Deep understanding of HR, Payroll, and Talent Management processes
- Experience managing HRIS implementations, upgrades, or major enhancement projects
- Advanced troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Experience working directly with technical development teams
- Strong reporting and data analysis experience
- Excellent communication skills in English
- Ability to work independently while collaborating with global teams
- Must be available during U.S. Central Time business hours
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience supporting enterprise-level HRIS environments
- SQL or reporting tool experience
- Experience with HR data governance and compliance
- Knowledge of HRIS integrations
- Experience working with distributed or international teams
- Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Human Resources, Computer Science, Business, or related field
