Cost and Price Analyst is responsible for preparation of financial analyses for new business quotations, monitoring of Margin Improvement Plan initiatives; and costing and pricing of engineering changes after programs are duly awarded until it is running in plant production.
The C&P Analyst is a strategic business partner to Sales, Operations and other CFTs Managers in achieving business growth through providing competitive and sustainable quotes that could bring sustainable profit for LEAR.
POSITION KEY FUNCTIONS
I. Providing Reliable and Timely Financial Reports and Analyses for New Business Quotations
Cost and Price Analyst is responsible for preparation of financial analyses (APR) for business quotations. He will evaluate, challenge and calculate the cost inputs received from different functions to come up with the most competitive proposed prices, per the standard quoting procedures and financial parameters.
He will closely communicate and collaborate with cross functional teams (CFTs) to ensure accuracy, completeness and timeliness of outputs. He will give suggestions to CFTs to optimize cost. He reports the financial analyses to appropriate management teams for decision making prior to submitting it to the Commercial leads. If the Quotation needs top management approval, he attends the review and decision meeting, if necessary
II. Costing & Pricing of Engineering Changes
The analyst is responsible for costing and pricing of engineering changes from program award until it is running in plant productions. He will calculate the related costs in order to propose suggested piece prices according to the agreed program pricing parameters.
He will collaborate with cross functional team to check the reliability of inputs. He will ensure timely escalation of issues related to engineering changes. He will take the C&P role in SEM/RDC system.
III. Supports Financial Monitoring and Reviews of Margin Improvements Plan (MIP) Initiatives of Asia Launching Programs
The analyst prepares financial analyses to monitor the status of launching programs including calculations and tracking of achieved task roadmaps identified at award.

KEY COMPETENCIES/DESCRIPTION
EDUCATION
Must be a graduate of B.S. Accountancy/ B.S. Management Accounting or B.S. Industrial Engineering. Finance or Engineering in Automotive Industry background is preferred.
EXPERIENCE
At least three years work experience in multi-national companies with exposure in working with various cross functions in manufacturing environment is a plus.
PERSONAL COMPETENCIES
Have good interpersonal skills. Good in oral and written communication. Have strong analytical skills, problem solver, proactive and can multi-task.
SKILLS/KNOWLEDGE
Well versed in MS Office Applications: Excel, Word and Powerpoint, Knowledge in Power BI and AI tools a plus.
Must be knowledgeable in manufacturing processes and flow. Possess general management skills (Planning, Leading, Controlling and Organizing).
