Job Summary
We are looking for a strategic
Senior Cost Accounting Manager to oversee cost accounting operations for a leading FMCG business. This role plays a key role in managing product costing, inventory valuation, manufacturing costs, and financial analysis to improve operational efficiency and maximize profitability.
The successful candidate has extensive experience in FMCG or manufacturing environments and is capable of leading cross-functional initiatives that strengthen financial performance.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the company's cost accounting and inventory accounting functions.
- Establish and maintain standard costing systems for manufactured products.
- Review production costs, overhead allocations, and cost variances.
- Oversee inventory valuation and month-end inventory reconciliation.
- Prepare product profitability, margin, and financial performance reports.
- Support budgeting, forecasting, and annual financial planning.
- Collaborate with Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Procurement, and Finance teams to improve operational efficiency.
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards, tax regulations, and company policies.
- Drive continuous improvements in costing processes and internal controls.
- Lead and mentor the cost accounting team.
Qualifications
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) required.
- Bachelor's Degree in Accountancy.
- Minimum of 8 years of progressive accounting experience, including 3–5 years in a managerial role.
- Strong experience in FMCG, Manufacturing, Consumer Goods, or Food Manufacturing.
- Expertise in inventory accounting, product costing, standard costing, BOM, and variance analysis.
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel, ERP systems, and financial reporting.
- Excellent analytical, leadership, and communication skills.
- Willing to work on-site in Mandaluyong City, Monday to Friday.
