Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Senior Content Writer / Reporter to join our editorial team. This hybrid role is ideally suited for a content specialist who thrives in a fast-paced environment and can seamlessly switch between producing high-quality written content and on-the-ground reporting during international conferences. The ideal candidate will take ownership of content production, demonstrating editorial leadership, creativity, and journalistic integrity.
Key Responsibilities:
Content Writing
- Create engaging and original Portuguese*-language content for web and print geared towards iGaming audiences
- Write high-impact digital marketing copy, including email campaigns, social media captions, banners, and other promotional materials
- Maintain a consistent editorial tone and quality across platforms
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to align content
- Oversee content planning and editorial calendar in coordination with marketing and events teams
Reporting & Event Coverage
- Represent the brand as a reporter at SiGMA and related industry events
- Conduct on-site interviews, write quick-turnaround news stories, and produce insightful conference summaries
- Capture the energy and insights of live events for publication in real-time and post-event wrap-ups
Required Qualifications
- Proven experience in content writing, copywriting, or journalism
- Excellent editorial judgment and strong attention to detail
- Ability to work autonomously and manage multiple projects simultaneously
Preferred Experience
- Background in digital media, publishing, or journalism
- Previous reporting experience at industry events or conferences is a plus
- Familiarity with SEO best practices and content management systems
