Role Description
GreenDev is seeking a Senior Consultant - Environmental & Sustainability Advisory to serve as a key in-house technical and advisory authority. This is a full-time, hybrid role based in Quezon City, offering a combination of on-site and remote work.
The Senior Consultant will play a critical role in leading high-complexity advisory engagements, providing technical judgment across environmental assessments, sustainability strategies, and regulatory compliance. This role emphasizes advisory leadership, technical quality assurance, and strategic guidance, supporting both clients and internal teams across the project lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities
Lead and advise on complex environmental and sustainability-related engagements, including ESIA, EIA, ECA, due diligence, and advisory studies.
Provide senior technical input and review of critical deliverables, ensuring accuracy, defensibility, and alignment with regulatory and international standards.
Advise internal teams on project scoping, methodologies, risk identification, and strategic approach.
Support client engagements requiring senior-level judgment, credibility, and regulatory insight.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop integrated, cost-efficient, and sustainable solutions.
Contribute to the strengthening of GreenDevs internal frameworks, methodologies, and advisory best practices.
Mentor and guide team members to elevate technical competence and consulting rigor.
Qualifications
10+ years of professional experience in environmental consulting, sustainability advisory, or related fields.
Strong expertise in Environmental Management, Sustainability Strategy, and Health & Safety regulations.
Extensive experience conducting Environmental Impact Assessments and preparing high-quality technical reports.
Strong analytical, research, and problem-solving capabilities.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills for both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Proven ability to provide advisory leadership across multidisciplinary teams.
Experience in stakeholder engagement and coordination with clients, regulators, and partners.
Solid understanding of Philippine environmental laws, regulations, and permitting processes.
Bachelors degree in Environmental Science, Environmental Engineering, Environmental Management, or related disciplines.
A Masters degree or professional certification in Sustainability, Environmental Management, or related fields is an advantage.
