We are seeking a high-performing PEZA, Regulatory & EHS Compliance Specialist to drive statutory compliance across our operations. In this critical role, you will be the primary liaison for government agencies, overseeing end-to-end PEZA documentation, managing Occupational Health and Safety (OSH) standards, and maintaining environmental permits.
Key Responsibilities
1. Manage PEZA Compliance
- Handle registrations, permits, incentives, and recurring reports.
- Liaise with PEZA officials for audits and inspections.
- Track regulatory changes and maintain organized permit archives.
2. Drive Environmental Compliance
- Maintain environmental permits and regulatory compliance.
- Oversee waste management, pollution control, and sustainability.
- Submit required environmental reports to regulatory bodies.
3. Lead Health & Safety (EHS)
- Implement safety programs and conduct workplace risk assessments.
- Coordinate safety training and emergency drills.
- Investigate incidents, recommend corrective actions, and enforce safety protocols.
4. Direct Regulatory Strategy
- Maintain compliance calendars for timely filings and renewals.
- Support internal and external regulatory audits.
- Draft compliance policies and delivery of employee training.
Qualifications
- Experience: 3+ years in PEZA administration, regulatory compliance, or EHS management.
- Knowledge: Deep understanding of PEZA regulations, environmental laws, and safety standards.
- Skills: Excellent communication, stakeholder coordination, and documentation skills.
- Certifications: Relevant EHS certifications are a plus.
