Position Responsibilities:
Execute regulatory compliance testing and assurance engagements, including walkthroughs and assessments of control design and operating effectiveness, in accordance with the Manulife Global Compliance Testing Policy and Methodology.
Document testing results and supporting evidence, and identify, escalate, and challenge potential compliance gaps or weaknesses based on regulatory requirements.
Support issue management activities, including tracking, follow‑up testing, and validation of corrective action plans.
Collaborate with compliance, risk, audit, and business partners to support a coordinated assurance approach.
Maintain awareness of regulatory developments and industry best practices impacting wealth and asset management compliance.
2- 3 years of experience in financial services, with experience in compliance, audit, risk management, or compliance testing preferred.
Bachelor's degree in finance, Law, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field.
Amenable to work from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM EST.
Preferred Qualifications:
General working knowledge of financial services regulatory requirements and compliance frameworks.
Strong analytical skills with the ability to assess controls and interpret regulatory requirements.
Effective written and verbal communication skills.
Proficiency in MS Office applications, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
Ability to work independently while also collaborating effectively within a team environment.
