Job Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Senior Compensation & Benefits (C&B) Specialist to manage payroll operations, benefits administration, and ensure compliance with local regulations. This role plays a critical part in delivering accurate and timely payroll while enhancing employee experience and strengthening C&B processes.

Key Responsibilities

Payroll Management

  • Process end-to-end payroll, ensuring accuracy and timeliness
  • Validate payroll data including salaries, allowances, overtime, and deductions
  • Ensure compliance with local statutory requirements (e.g., tax, SSS, PhilHealth, Pag-IBIG)
  • Manage payroll reports, reconciliations, and year-to-date (YTD) tracking
  • Coordinate with internal stakeholders and external vendors for payroll execution

Benefits Administration

  • Administer employee benefits programs including enrollment, updates, and claims
  • Liaise with vendors and ensure smooth benefits operations
  • Support benefits optimization and cost control initiatives

Compliance & Governance

  • Ensure compliance with local labor laws and company policies
  • Support audits and maintain proper documentation for payroll and benefits processes
  • Strengthen internal controls and approval mechanisms

Employee Support & Communication

  • Handle employee inquiries related to payroll and benefits in a timely manner
  • Provide clear communication and guidance on policies and processes
  • Support employee education initiatives (e.g., FAQs, briefings)

Process Improvement & Data Management

  • Continuously improve payroll and benefits processes (SOPs, checklists, automation)
  • Maintain accurate HRIS data and ensure data integrity
  • Support reporting and analytics for decision-making

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field
  • Minimum 3–5 years of experience in Compensation & Benefits, with strong payroll exposure
  • Solid understanding of Philippine payroll regulations and statutory requirements
  • Strong attention to detail and high level of accuracy
  • Good communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Proficient in Excel and HR systems

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience using BIPO HRMS or similar HR/payroll systems is highly preferred
  • Experience in fast-paced or shared services environment is a plus
  • Familiarity with process improvement or automation initiatives
