Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Senior Compensation & Benefits (C&B) Specialist to manage payroll operations, benefits administration, and ensure compliance with local regulations. This role plays a critical part in delivering accurate and timely payroll while enhancing employee experience and strengthening C&B processes.
Key Responsibilities
Payroll Management
- Process end-to-end payroll, ensuring accuracy and timeliness
- Validate payroll data including salaries, allowances, overtime, and deductions
- Ensure compliance with local statutory requirements (e.g., tax, SSS, PhilHealth, Pag-IBIG)
- Manage payroll reports, reconciliations, and year-to-date (YTD) tracking
- Coordinate with internal stakeholders and external vendors for payroll execution
Benefits Administration
- Administer employee benefits programs including enrollment, updates, and claims
- Liaise with vendors and ensure smooth benefits operations
- Support benefits optimization and cost control initiatives
Compliance & Governance
- Ensure compliance with local labor laws and company policies
- Support audits and maintain proper documentation for payroll and benefits processes
- Strengthen internal controls and approval mechanisms
Employee Support & Communication
- Handle employee inquiries related to payroll and benefits in a timely manner
- Provide clear communication and guidance on policies and processes
- Support employee education initiatives (e.g., FAQs, briefings)
Process Improvement & Data Management
- Continuously improve payroll and benefits processes (SOPs, checklists, automation)
- Maintain accurate HRIS data and ensure data integrity
- Support reporting and analytics for decision-making
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field
- Minimum 3–5 years of experience in Compensation & Benefits, with strong payroll exposure
- Solid understanding of Philippine payroll regulations and statutory requirements
- Strong attention to detail and high level of accuracy
- Good communication and stakeholder management skills
- Proficient in Excel and HR systems
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience using BIPO HRMS or similar HR/payroll systems is highly preferred
- Experience in fast-paced or shared services environment is a plus
- Familiarity with process improvement or automation initiatives
