Compensation & Benefits Advisor
About the Role
We are seeking a Compensation & Benefits Advisor to serve as the local subject matter expert (SME) for total rewards in the Philippines. This role will partner closely with the Enterprise Total Rewards COE to ensure effective implementation of compensation and benefits programs, while maintaining compliance with local regulations.
This is a high-impact individual contributor role, ideal for professionals who thrive in both strategic advisory and operational execution within a fast-paced, evolving environment.
Key Responsibilities
Compensation & Rewards
- Act as the local compensation advisor for PH market practices
- Support job pricing, salary benchmarking, and internal equity reviews
- Partner with HR and leaders on:
- Annual compensation planning
- Promotions and salary adjustments
- Incentive programs and governance
- Provide guidance on compensation policies and best practices
Benefits & Vendor Management
- Oversee administration of local benefits programs, including:
- HMO, insurance, retirement, and wellness
- Statutory benefits (SSS, PhilHealth, Pag-IBIG)
- Manage vendors to ensure service delivery and issue resolution
- Lead employee communications and education on benefits
Compliance & Governance
- Ensure compliance with Philippine labor laws and benefits regulations
- Partner with Payroll on statutory contributions and reporting
- Support internal audits and documentation requirements
Stakeholder Partnership
- Collaborate with HR Operations on employee lifecycle processes
- Act as escalation point for complex compensation and benefits cases
- Provide insights and recommendations to support business decisions
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in HR, Business, Finance, or related field
- 5–7 years of experience in Compensation, Benefits, or Total Rewards
- Strong knowledge of Philippine labor and statutory requirements
- Experience working with global or enterprise COE structures (preferred)
- Experience with HRIS systems (e.g., Workday)
