The role serves as the analytical and data backbone of Commercial Finance. They will develop Power BI reporting, manages the Commercial Finance Data Warehouse, and sets the standards and governance that position Finance as the single source of truth for product data.
Building on this foundation, the role prepares regular profitability reports and lifetime profitability (LTP) models that help the business units make sound product-profitability decisions and identify initiatives that strengthen returns. They will help the business meet commercial KPIs and lifetime profitability targets.
What You'll Do:
- Prepare monthly profitability reports for an assigned core HCPH product line — POS Loans, Cash Loans, Revolving Loans, or Value-Added Services.
- Serve as Finance's primary point of contact for all initiatives related to the assigned product.
- Develop lifetime profitability (LTP) models to support business units and product streams.
- Uphold the accuracy, reliability, and timeliness of all LTP models and reporting outputs.
- Partner with cross-functional teams (Sales, Marketing, Supply Chain, Product, and Risk) to source, validate, and consolidate data inputs, acting as the focal point for cross-team data dependencies and ensuring inputs are complete and ready for LTP execution.
- Design, develop, and maintain Power BI dashboards and reports that translate business requirements into actionable visual insights.
- Drive continuous improvement in the accuracy, usability, and automation of Commercial Finance reporting.
- Act as the primary SQL specialist for Commercial Finance, managing and optimizing the Commercial Finance Data Warehouse to ensure data integrity, structure, and accessibility for business users.
- Fulfill data requests from the Commercial Finance team promptly, validating and reconciling data to ensure accuracy and consistency across reports.
- Establish reporting standards and governance, positioning Commercial Finance as the single source of truth for financial data.
What You Need to Have:
- At least 3+ years of experience in finance, commercial finance, business analysis, data analytics, business intelligence, or related roles.
- Strong understanding of commercial finance concepts, including product profitability, revenue drivers, cost structures, commercial KPIs, and lifetime profitability.
- Experience preparing recurring management reports, profitability reports, business performance dashboards, and financial analysis for decision-making.
- Experience working with cross-functional stakeholders such as Product, Risk, Finance, Sales, Operations, and senior management.
- Familiarity with consumer finance, personal loans, product loans, cash loans, revolving loans, credit cards, or other financial products.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including complex formulas, pivot tables, data validation, scenario analysis, and financial modeling.
- Working knowledge of SQL for data extraction, validation, reconciliation, and analysis.
- Experience building, maintaining, or enhancing Power BI dashboards or other business intelligence reports.
- Ability to consolidate large data sets from multiple sources and transform them into structured, reliable, and actionable outputs.
- Strong understanding of data quality, data governance, report accuracy, and single-source-of-truth principles.
