What you'll do:

As a Senior Cloud Security Engineer based in Pasig, you will be instrumental in driving the secure implementation of cloud-based solutions across a diverse technology landscape. Your day-to-day responsibilities will involve collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to ensure that every aspect of the organisation's cloud infrastructure meets stringent security standards. You will have the autonomy to provide technical guidance on complex projects while developing automation scripts that enhance operational efficiency. By maintaining up-to-date documentation and translating high-level architectural designs into practical implementations, you will help safeguard critical assets against emerging threats.   • Implement and secure Azure infrastructure components such as network security groups, routing configurations, peering arrangements, firewalls (including web application firewalls), private endpoints, and advanced logging mechanisms.
  • Configure and manage privileged identity management systems within Azure, including role-based access control policies and conditional access strategies to ensure robust protection of sensitive resources.
  • Deploy and maintain Azure Sentinel along with comprehensive log ingestion pipelines to support proactive security monitoring, detection capabilities, and incident response activities.
  • Oversee the management and security of hybrid cloud environments as well as on-premises infrastructures by applying best practices for virtualisation platforms like VMware and Hyper-V.
  • Provide expert input into the design and deployment of enterprise networking solutions across Azure Networking platforms as well as Cisco technologies to enhance overall network resilience.
  • Support the implementation of zero trust principles by configuring firewall rulesets, establishing secure VPN connectivity options, managing hybrid networking topologies, and architecting private endpoint solutions.
  • Work collaboratively with Zscaler technologies (ZIA/ZPA) to enable secure access models that align with modern enterprise requirements for remote workforces.
  • Implement and maintain secure identity controls using tools such as Azure Active Directory (including B2B/B2C), CyberArk, BeyondTrust, multi-factor authentication protocols (MFA), SAML/OAuth standards, RBAC policies, and identity governance frameworks.
  • Develop PowerShell scripts to automate infrastructure deployments and streamline security operations while leveraging infrastructure-as-code methodologies through tools like Terraform or Octopus.
  • Ensure all implemented solutions adhere strictly to Essential 8, NIST, SOCI requirements while optimising Defender for Cloud capabilities; create detailed documentation including knowledge base articles and procedural guides.

  • Demonstrated experience in cyber security or infrastructure/network engineering within large enterprise environments supporting over five thousand users is essential for this role.
  • Proven expertise in designing, implementing, and securing Azure infrastructure components such as network security groups, routing protocols, peering configurations, firewalls (including web application firewalls), private endpoints, Sentinel integration for SIEM/log management.
  • Comprehensive understanding of enterprise networking concepts including Cisco technologies (VPNs/hybrid connectivity), zero trust architectures, firewall configuration best practices, Zscaler ZIA/ZPA platforms.
  • Advanced skills in identity management encompassing Azure Active Directory (B2B/B2C), privileged access management (PAM/IAM), conditional access policies/governance frameworks (RBAC/MFA/SAML/OAuth).
  • Strong proficiency in PowerShell scripting for automating infrastructure deployments/security operations; familiarity with infrastructure-as-code tools such as Terraform or Octopus is highly desirable.
  • In-depth knowledge of internationally recognised security standards/frameworks including Essential 8/NIST/SOCI/ISO 27001; experience aligning technical implementations with these requirements is crucial.
  • Experience managing virtualised environments using VMware/Hyper-V platforms; ability to integrate on-premises systems with cloud-based services securely.
  • Excellent documentation skills with a proven track record of creating clear procedural guides/knowledge base articles; ability to interpret high-level architecture/security designs into actionable technical plans.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science/Information Technology/Cyber Security is highly desirable; relevant certifications such as AZ-104/AZ-500/AZ-305/SC-200/SC-300 (Azure), CCNA/CCNP (Cisco), CompTIA Security+/CISSP or equivalent are advantageous.
