Your impact
- Provide civil engineering design leadership, project management, and design management for infrastructure projects delivered by the Jacobs Manila office in support of local, ANZ, and other regions as required.
- Act as Design Manager, Project Discipline Lead, or Package Lead, taking accountability for technical outcomes based on project complexity and delivery requirements.
- Lead civil infrastructure pursuits and projects, contributing directly to the growth and capability development of the Jacobs Manila business supporting ANZ and global regions.
- Deliver planning and design inputs for civil, road, and infrastructure projects in accordance with Australian Standards, Austroads Guidelines, and local authority requirements, including multidisciplinary coordination.
- Provide technical leadership, QA/QC oversight, and approval of deliverables, ensuring quality, compliance, and constructability across assigned projects.
- Support strategic initiatives, including tender preparation, pursuit development, and selected external-facing interactions with clients and industry partners, in collaboration with global market leads and sales teams.
Here's what you'll need
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering.
- Demonstrated experience delivering civil infrastructure projects, preferably aligned with Australian and ANZ standards and practices.
- Strong understanding of industry standards, best practices, and regulatory frameworks relevant to civil and infrastructure engineering.
- Proven capability in project management, including scope definition, schedule and budget control, staffing forecasts, and risk management.
- Experience providing technical guidance, mentoring, and skills development to designers, drafters, and junior to mid-level engineers.
- Ability to contribute at both technical and strategic levels, including support for bids, pursuits, client engagement, and team growth initiatives.
