Senior Canadian Accountant (ASPE & Tax)

Job Overview

Our client is seeking an experienced accounting professional to provide dedicated accounting support to diverse client accounts, overseeing multiple simultaneous projects and meeting deadlines in a dynamic, collaborative team environment. In this role, you will manage full-cycle bookkeeping and day-to-day accounting processes while ensuring compliance with relevant standards and tax regulations.

Schedule

Monday - Friday, 9:00 AM - 6:00 PM Mountain Time (MT), with 1 hour unpaid/paid break (40 work hours per week)

Responsibilities

• Manage all financial records, full-cycle bookkeeping, and day-to-day accounting processes, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger reconciliation.
• Ensure strict compliance with Canadian accounting standards (ASPE) and assist with timely client tax filings, internal financial reporting, and preparing documentation for external audits.
• Review and analyze financial statements for accuracy, identifying and resolving discrepancies or variations.
• Provide dedicated accounting support to diverse client accounts, overseeing multiple simultaneous projects and meeting deadlines in a dynamic, collaborative team environment.
