As a Senior Buyer, you would be responsible for managing the procurement of materials, goods, and services, ensuring cost optimization, quality, and service while driving added value through strategic sourcing, value engineering, innovation, and risk management.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify and evaluate potential suppliers, negotiate contracts, and develop sourcing strategies to optimize cost and quality.
- Manage the entire procurement process, from requisition to payment, ensuring timely and accurate delivery of goods and services.
- Identify and implement cost-saving measures, negotiate favorable pricing, and track spending to achieve budget targets.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, ensuring their performance and responsiveness.
- Identify and mitigate potential risks related to procurement, such as supply chain disruptions or quality issues.
- Track key procurement metrics, analyze data to identify trends, and prepare reports for management.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant procurement policies and procedures.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Experience: Several years of experience in procurement or supply chain management.
- Knowledge: Strong understanding of procurement processes, contract law, and supplier management.
- Negotiation Skills: Ability to negotiate effectively with suppliers and secure favorable terms.
- Analytical Skills: Ability to analyze data, identify trends, and make data-driven decisions.
- Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to identify and resolve problems effectively.
- Software Proficiency: Proficiency in procurement software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Open for a mid-shift schedule and Hybrid work arrangement (20 onsite days attendance per quarter)
