This role oversees end-to-end ownership of Avaloq modules (including ACP, RMWP, AFP) and ensures seamless delivery of FixPack upgrades, platform enhancements, and integration with surrounding systems. This role will lead as an Avaloq techno-functional expert, drive continuous improvement in system capability and performance, and partner closely with business, product, and architecture teams to translate requirements into scalable Avaloq solutions. This role is accountable for platform reliability, development governance, and ensuring the system meets regulatory, operational, and security standards. This role also provides expert-level guidance in Avaloq development, code quality, platform modernization, and cloud/container-based deployment strategies.
What You'll Do

Lead capacity planning, lifecycle management, and modernization initiatives across ACP, RMWP, AFP, and related modules. - Business Engagement & Solution Delivery – Collaborate with senior business stakeholders to evaluate requirements, assess feasibility, and translate them into robust Avaloq configurations and scripts. Drive solution design reviews to ensure alignment with business goals, regulatory frameworks, and operational efficiency. Oversee end-to-end development cycles – design, parameterization, testing, documentation, and production deployment.
- Avaloq Module Ownership & Technical Expertise – Serve as senior subject-matter authority for key Avaloq modules (e.g. STEX, Security Event, Client Onboarding, Task & Reporting). Guide teams in diagnosing and resolving complex system issues, ensuring minimal disruption to business operations. Define and maintain module-level standards, reusable components, and optimized workflows.
- Integration Architecture & External Interfaces – Oversee the support, development, and troubleshooting of Avaloq interfaces such as AMI, CAPI, and integrations with systems like Finacle. Ensure high-quality, secure, and reliable data exchange between Avaloq and external platforms. Collaborate with enterprise architects on modernization initiatives, API adoption, and integration simplification.
- Cloud, OpenShift, and Platform Deployment – Lead strategy and operations for Avaloq-related services deployed on OpenShift or Kubernetes-based platforms. Drive automation, CI/CD improvement, and containerization best practices for Avaloq components and adjacent services.
- Quality Assurance, Risk Management & Documentation – Oversee peer code reviews, technical design validation, and compliance with audit and regulatory requirements. Ensure production of high-quality documentation: solution designs, test scripts, deployment runbooks, and knowledge base assets. Champion continuous improvement practices and operational risk reduction across Avaloq deliveries.
