Your Role
As a
Senior Business Intelligence Analyst, you will:
- Design, develop, and maintain interactive dashboards, reports, and business intelligence solutions using Power BI and the Microsoft Power Platform.
- Automate reporting processes to improve efficiency, accuracy, and overall business performance.
- Extract, clean, transform, and integrate data from multiple sources to support reporting and analytics.
- Develop SQL queries, stored procedures, views, and ETL processes to prepare high-quality datasets for analysis.
- Publish and maintain Power BI reports in the cloud, including dataset refreshes, access management, and troubleshooting.
- Create reusable datasets and semantic models that support enterprise reporting.
- Partner with finance, sales, customer service, and operational teams to gather reporting requirements and deliver actionable insights.
- Ensure data accuracy, integrity, consistency, and compliance with data governance standards.
- Communicate insights and recommendations to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Identify opportunities to improve reporting processes, business intelligence capabilities, and data-driven decision-making.
What You Need
Non-negotiables
- Minimum 7 years of experience in Business Intelligence, Data Analytics, or a similar role.
- Advanced hands-on experience with Microsoft Power BI.
- Strong SQL skills, including writing complex queries, stored procedures, views, and ETL processes.
- Experience extracting, transforming, cleaning, and integrating data from multiple data sources.
- Bachelor's degree or certification in Data Analytics, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
Preferred Skills/expertise
- Experience with the Microsoft Power Platform (Power Automate, Power Apps, etc.).
- Experience working with relational and/or cloud-based databases.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills and strong proficiency with the Microsoft Office Suite.
- Knowledge of data governance, semantic models, and enterprise reporting best practices.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
