Job Description

Business Development Senior Manager

Drive Growth. Build Partnerships. Create Opportunities.

We are looking for an experienced and results-driven Business Development Senior Manager to lead strategic growth initiatives, develop strong client relationships, and identify new business opportunities that will drive organizational success.

In this role, you will work closely with industry leaders, government stakeholders, and internal teams to develop innovative solutions, secure new business opportunities, and ensure seamless project implementation from concept to operations.

Key Responsibilities

Market Research and New Business Development

  • Identify, conceptualize and implement opportunities for new toll service facility developments, transport-related developments and services, roadside products and services, utilities and facilities services, and advertising properties that will increase the company's revenues
  • Present to and consult with mid- and senior-level management on business trends with a view to developing new infrastructure, systems, products and services
  • Using knowledge of market and competitors, identify and develop the company's unique selling propositions and differentiators
  • Work with team to develop proposals that speaks to the client's needs, concerns, and objectives
  • Completing and presenting business cases, business plans, and pricing for solutions and services
  • Plan and strategize approaches, proposals and pitches

Client Retention

  • Prospect for potential new customers and clients and turn this into increased businesses and opportunities
  • Research and build relationships with new clients and customers, especially decision-makers within their organization
  • Present new products and services and enhance existing relationships

Leadership and Management

  • Research and develop a thorough understanding of the company's people and capabilities
  • Track and record activity on accounts and help to close deals to meet targets promptly

Qualifications

Education

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Architecture, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Master's Degree is an advantage.

Experience

  • Minimum of 10 years of combined experience in Business Development, Sales, Strategic Partnerships, or related roles.
  • Proven track record in generating new business opportunities and managing key client relationships.

Preferred Background

  • Experience in Planning, Architecture, Engineering, Construction, Infrastructure, or related industries.
  • Knowledge of Project Management methodologies and Gantt Chart preparation.

  • Excellent business development, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
  • Strong project coordination and attention to detail.
  • Strong visualization and presentation skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
