.Role Overview:

• We are looking for a Senior Business Analyst who can act as a strong bridge between customers and analytics engineering teams. This role focuses on owning requirements, creating clear Business Requirement Documents (BRDs), and independently delivering insight-led analysis using SQL and Excel. The ideal candidate is framework-driven, impact-oriented, and comfortable presenting insights to stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Lead requirement gathering discussions with customers and internal stakeholders.

• Translate business problems into clear, structured BRDs for analytics engineers.

• Define KPIs, metrics, assumptions, edge cases, and dependencies.

• Perform independent analysis using SQL and Excel to answer business questions.

• Validate datasets and outputs before dashboard or reporting consumption.

• Apply a structured analytical framework to solve problems.

• Present insights and recommendations clearly to customers and leadership.

• Collaborate closely with Analytics Engineers and Data Engineers.

• Reduce rework by proactively identifying data gaps and risks.

• Support stakeholders with ad-hoc analysis and insights.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in Business Analysis or Analytics roles.
• Strong experience creating Business Requirement Documents (BRDs).
• 2+ years of working knowledge of SQL (CTEs, joins, aggregations, filters).
• Strong Excel skills (pivot tables, lookups, formulas).
• Ability to independently perform exploratory and validation analysis.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience working in customer-facing roles.
