Role Overview
A global development-focused organization is seeking a
Senior Business Analyst to support demand management and business analysis activities within its technology function. This role is responsible for gathering, analyzing, and translating business requirements into actionable deliverables, ensuring alignment with governance processes and organizational objectives.
The position plays a key role in bridging business and technology teams, enabling informed decision-making and effective prioritization of initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
Business Analysis & Requirements Management
- Analyze and evaluate business needs by developing a strong understanding of processes, objectives, and requirements.
- Lead requirements gathering sessions and translate findings into clear, structured documentation for technical teams.
- Ensure business requirements are validated and aligned with governance standards before progressing to approval stages.
Stakeholder Engagement & Coordination
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including enterprise architecture, security, and technical stakeholders.
- Communicate requirements effectively to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Facilitate discussions and workshops to support alignment on business and IT priorities.
Demand Management & Governance Support
- Support demand intake, evaluation, and tracking processes.
- Maintain and update demand dashboards and reporting tools to ensure visibility of requests and statuses.
- Assist in managing budget tracking related to demand and project initiatives.
- Participate in or facilitate Request for Information (RFI) activities for new solutions and tools.
Documentation & Process Improvement
- Prepare documentation such as business cases, presentations, meeting materials, and reports.
- Document processes, identify inefficiencies, and recommend improvements to enhance operational effectiveness.
- Contribute to the development and refinement of policies, templates, and procedures related to demand management.
Qualifications And Experience
- At least 5 years of experience in business analysis, requirements management, or a related field.
- Proven experience working with enterprise systems and digital workplace tools such as:
- Oracle
- ServiceNow
- Microsoft 365
- SharePoint
- Strong experience in requirements documentation, process mapping, and business case development.
- Exposure to IT governance, demand management, or project intake processes is highly desirable.
