Our client, a leading Australian Fintech with a global presence, is looking for Senior Business Analyst to join the team.

As Business Analyst, you are a core member of the client's business as you will play an integral part in clearly documenting and communicating complex requirements, solutions and processes as the product is adapted and implemented based on new or existing customer needs.

You form close working relationships with your peers across Sales, Implementations, Development, and Service & Support teams. You communicate clearly and effectively with both internal and external stakeholders, to ensure projects are delivered on time and to scope.

What you are responsible for:

Core Duties

• Develop and maintain strong business relationships with key internal and external stakeholders and leverage those relationships to achieve both business and customer objectives.

• Utilise your excellent verbal and written communication skills to elicit, capture and refine user requirements and implement solutions that will deliver high quality business outcomes.

• Liaise with key stakeholders to capture requirements utilising techniques such as interviews, document analysis and workshops. This will include conducting workshops with business and technical SMEs, eliciting technical requirements that support business, data and integration needs.

• Document user requirements via clear and concise user stories with appropriate supporting documentation, such as diagrams and specifications.

• Support delivery of solutions by working collaboratively with developers and testers during the development process to ensure the right solution is being built.

• Create and maintain customer documentation relating to business workflows and technical processes. This includes generating high quality diagrams that capture business processes, technical workflows and sequence diagrams.

• Support the design, development, implementation and ongoing management of product and regulatory change initiatives.

• Perform technical analysis tasks, including systems integration document analysis, and API specification review and mapping.

• Maintain a product knowledge base to provide a central source of product expertise within the organisation and support superior product design and maintenance.

Task Management & Organisation

• Proactively organise your task backlog to ensure all assigned tasks are delivered as scheduled. Breakdown tasks into smaller deliverables or milestones when appropriate.

• Continually communicate updates on progress and escalate issues/concerns appropriately.

Qualifications & experience

4+ years proven experience working as a Senior Business Analyst.
Proficiency in data analysis tools, project management software, and understanding of methodologies.
Excellent organizational skills, problem solving, attention to detail, effective & professional communication with client.
Experience in technical analysis tasks, including systems integration document analysis, and API specification review and mapping.
Ability to work independently at a high level without constant supervision.
Strong interpersonal skills and a determined drive to achieve results.
