We are looking for a (Senior) Business Analyst AI to join our AI team in the Innovation & Insight Business Unit.

The role will be reporting to the Product Manager.

Location: Manila or Luxembourg (depending on applicant's current location)

Responsibilities :

The position holder is accountable for the accomplishment of the following tasks along a product life cycle:

  • Analyze external and internal requirements, translating them into clear functional specifications suitable for engineering teams.
  • Participate actively in technical discussions related to system architecture, APIs, data structures, microservices, and integration points.
  • Define and document proposed cargo system solutions and follow them through until release in production.
  • Provide 2nd-level support for new or enhanced products unless otherwise specified.
  • Perform remote or on‑site implementations of products managed by the unit, including reviewing customer environments and integration points.
  • Deliver remote or on‑site product training, tailored to both technical and operational audiences.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities :

  • Autonomous and like working in a small team
  • Air cargo industry experience (airlines or operations or revenue accounting) is a major advantage.
  • Strong technical background — ideally a developer transitioning into a Business Analyst role or a BA with hands‑on technical experience.
  • Ability to understand and discuss system architecture, APIs, microservices, data models, and technical constraints with development teams.
  • Proven experience working directly with developers, providing clear specifications, supporting testing, and validating technical solutions.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate complex technical topics into clear business requirements and documentation.
  • Excellent English written and oral communication skills.
  • Knowledge of relational databases (Oracle, Postgres) is mandatory, exposure to NoSQL (MongoDB) is a plus.
  • Knowledge of designing or integrating distributed solutions (UI, APIs, microservices, JSON).
  • Experience or interest in AI technologies (LLMs, machine learning, OCR/vision AI, fuzzy logic) is a strong advantage.
  • Experience in an Agile environment (Scrum or similar).

Education and Experience :

  • Information Technology qualification – Degree or work experience equivalent
  • A minimum of 3 years as Business Analyst or a minimum of 4 years as Developer

The selected candidate may be subject to the provision of an up-to-date (not older than 3 months) criminal record certificate.
