Job Title:Senior Bookkeeper

Location: Ortigas, Pasig, PH

Work Schedule: Monday to Friday, 6:00 AM – 3:00 PM (Hybrid | 3x Onsite, 2x WFH)

JOB DETAILS

We are seeking an experienced and proactive Senior Bookkeeper / Finance Officer to join our team supporting Australian clients across a portfolio of businesses. This is a hands-on role suited to someone who can independently manage end-to-end bookkeeping and finance processes while maintaining accuracy, meeting deadlines, and delivering excellent client support.

The ideal candidate is highly organised, detail-oriented, and confident working in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision. Experience managing your own workload or client portfolio is essential.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage end-to-end bookkeeping and finance functions across multiple client accounts
  • Perform bank, credit card, payroll, and balance sheet reconciliations
  • Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions
  • Manage payroll processing and payroll compliance requirements
  • Prepare BAS, financial reports, and supporting documentation where required
  • Maintain accurate financial records within Xero
  • Monitor workflow, prioritise tasks, and ensure deadlines are consistently met
  • Liaise professionally with internal stakeholders and clients via written communication
  • Identify process improvements and proactively resolve issues

Key Qualifications & Skills:

  • Minimum 4+ years experience in bookkeeping or finance officer roles
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
  • Strong hands-on experience with Xero (essential)
  • Payroll processing experience (essential)
  • Excellent reconciliation skills with strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Ability to independently manage workflow, priorities, and deadlines
  • Confident written communication skills, including client-facing communication
  • High level of discretion and confidentiality when handling sensitive information
  • Strong problem-solving skills with a proactive, solutions-focused approach
  • Reliable, accountable, and able to work autonomously with minimal supervision
  • Experience managing a client portfolio or supporting multiple entities/businesses
  • Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Experience supporting Australian businesses preferred
  • Experience in construction, project-based industries, or professional services firms highly regarded
  • Experience working with small to medium-sized businesses is an advantage
