JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
• Managing a portfolio of multiple clients (mostly GP Partnerships and Primary Care Networks)
• Processing day-to-day bookkeeping tasks, including recording transactions, managing
accounts payable and receivable, payroll, and bank reconciliations.
• Maintaining accurate and up-to-date financial records for assigned clients.
• Ensuring proper documentation and filing of financial records.
• Assisting the accounts team in the preparation of basic financial reports (i.e., payroll analysis,
income analysis, ARRS reconciliation)
• Identifying and reporting any discrepancies or errors to the bookkeeping manager
• Communicating with clients under the guidance of the bookkeeping manager.
• Keeping abreast of basic accounting and bookkeeping principles in UK NHS setting.
• Preparation of monthly bookkeeping reports.
• Gathering and organizing the year-end company records from clients
• Work closely with the team to meet deadlines.
• Ensuring the accuracy and timeliness of delivery of the assigned tasks
• Propose process improvements as necessary.
• Create and maintain Standard Operating Procedures.
JOB QUALIFICATIONS
• Graduate of Bachelor of Science in Accountancy
• Proficient in using Microsoft Office suite
• With at least 2-3 years of relevant experience in Bookkeeping or General Accounting
• Outstanding communication skill
• Exceptional attention to details and analytical skills
• Meticulous in accurately maintaining and organizing financial records
• Be receptive to and value the ethical ethos behind the practice
• Work constructively with the team to meet goals and recurring deadlines
• Good knowledge on internal controls and ability to detect misstatements due to fraud or error
• Once trained, will be expected to work with minimal supervision.
• Experience of working in a firm of chartered/certified accounts or a corporate firm
• Coming from the Big 4 is preferred but not required
• CPA, CMA or ACCA Qualified
