Position Overview

RecruitGo seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Senior Bookkeeper to join our growing team. This role is critical in ensuring accurate financial management and compliance for our clients, particularly those based in Australia.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure accurate financial data entry, reconciliations, and payroll review
  • Assist in reviewing business and instalment activity statements
  • Prepare and review monthly payroll tax reconciliations
  • Prepare monthly management reporting and reconciliations
  • Provide support and guidance to junior team members
  • Support onboarding and training of new hires
  • Ensure adherence to internal processes and client requirements

Required Skills And Qualifications

  • Minimum 3+ years of bookkeeping experience, including payroll (Australian client experience preferred)
  • At least 12 years in an intermediate bookkeeper role
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting; CPA qualification is a plus.
  • Strong understanding of Xero and Microsoft Office tools
  • Knowledge of Australian payroll compliance requirements
  • Excellent attention to detail and time management skills
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Experience with Xero Ecosystem apps including Dext, Deputy, and Lightspeed

  • Salary Range: Php 40,000 to Php 60,000
  • Work Set up: Remote
  • Work Schedule: Monday to Friday; 8:30 AM to 5:30 PM South Australian Time with a 1-hour break
