What You'll Do
- Reconcile Xero bank accounts and investigate transaction discrepancies.
- Maintain and update Xero files to ensure accurate and complete financial records.
- Manage accounts payable and receivable including invoice processing and payment tracking.
- Prepare monthly financial reports and ensure BAS and GST compliance.
Key Criteria
- At least 5 years of hands-on Australian bookkeeping experience in a similar role.
- Strong working proficiency in Xero.
- Practical knowledge of BAS and GST preparation and compliance.
- Experience preparing standard financial reports including profit and loss statements and balance sheets
Work setup
- Manila (BGC, Taguig): Full onsite setup for the first 3–6 months, aligned with Australian business hours: 6:00 AM to 3:00 PM PHT. Depending on performance, the role will transition to a hybrid setup thereafter.
