We currently have an exciting opportunity for a Senior BIM Design Modeler - Fire Protection to join our Building Services team.
WHAT YOU'LL DO:
- Liaise with primary business, office, and technical leads to ensure best practice delivery to project requirements.
- Assist with the development, review, approval, and maintenance of the suite of Revit documentation guidelines including BIM standards, implementation plans and quality control procedures.
- Develop, implement, and enforce best practice BIM workflows and processes.
- Drive and deploy technical delivery innovation.
- Plan, execute and manage the ongoing implementation of BIM across all disciplines in the region including integration of design workflows.
- Stay up to date with the latest best practice within BIM project technology and the interaction of BIM software with other software used within the business.
- Provide quality control for completeness and adherence to company standards for all models and drawings produced.
- Review progress, compliance and clash detection reports produced by the project BIM coordinator and manage issue rectification.
- Implement and monitor clash detection process including the resolution of clashes and constructability issue.
- Produce periodic to the team expressing progress, lesson learned and achievements.
- Coordinate and establish projects standards with clients, design teams and stakeholders.
- Plan and execute the expansion of local BIM related services.
- Assist with the administration of BIM Project Technology Systems.
WHAT WE'LL LOVE ABOUT YOU:
- Bachelor of Science or Engineering Degree
- At least 8-10+ years of experience in a similar capacity
- Excellent communication and leadership skills.
- Experience leading terms and running, training and familiarization sessions.
- A strong focus on quality of customers.
- Expert Revit authoring of all Building Services disciplines including Mechanical, Electrical, Fire Protection and Hydraulics.
- Expert experience with Revit content development and shared parameter management.
- Familiarisation with Australian and International BIM standards including ISO19650 BIM MEP Aus.
- High level experience with Navisworks, Revizto, clash detection and construction issue management.
- Use of C4R and BIM360
- Experience with Revit project model set up and management.
- Experience working with Revit project delivery for the Australian market.
- Preferred practical experience using Dynamo/Python for task automation.
- Preferred design background and knowledge of engineering fundamentals.
- Proficient in executing BIM Scope and BIM execution Plan.
