As a Senior Billing Analyst, you will serve as a subject matter expert and operational lead within
Client's billing function, owing complex manual billing processes, driving data accuracy
through rigorous reconciliation, and leading initiatives that improve how we bill and recognize
revenue across our product portfolio.
This is a high-impact, execution-oriented role for someone who is equally comfortable heads-down
resolving a billing discrepancy and reviewing month-over-month flux analysis. You will operate
independently, develop best practices, and serve as a trusted cross-functional partner across
Sales, Success, RevOps, AR/Collections, and Finance.
WHAT YOU'LL OWN- Complex manual billing execution — Process high-volume and non-standard billing scenarios end-to-end with accuracy, including custom contract structures, mid-term amendments, and multi-product arrangements across multiple entities
- Data reconciliation — Identify and resolve billing discrepancies across Salesforce, internal systems, and billing records, ensuring data integrity between contract terms and AR
- Month-over-month flux analysis — Review and reconcile flux analysis for billing and revenue metrics; identify root causes of variances and communicate findings clearly to Revenue Accounting and Finance stakeholders
- Contract review & Salesforce CPQ accuracy — Review executed contracts to validate billing terms and ensure accurate setup in Salesforce CPQ; catch and correct discrepancies before they reach the customer
- Billing initiatives & process improvements — Maintain ongoing partnerships with systems teams to increase efficiency across various billing processes
- Cross-functional partnership — Serve as a billing SME for cross-functional teams by resolving escalations and advising on billing structure for complex or non-standard deals
- Reporting & ad hoc analysis — Build and maintain billing reports in Excel and Salesforce; respond to ad hoc data requests with accuracy and urgency
- Systems exposure — Develop working familiarity with the ongoing Salesforce CPQ+Billing and Workday revenue migration; contribute to testing and validation as needed
REQUIREMENTS
Must-have- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or equivalent
- 4+ years in billing, accounts receivable, or revenue operations
- Intermediate Excel proficiency — pivot tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, reconciliation modeling
- Demonstrated experience preparing month-over-month flux analysis
- Hands-on experience with complex manual billing processes and billing data reconciliation
- Strong written and verbal communication skills; comfortable translating billing complexity for cross-functional audiences
- Proven ability to manage multiple priorities independently in a fast-paced environment
Strongly preferred- Experience with Salesforce or Salesforce CPQ
- Background in SaaS or subscription billing models
- Prior involvement in a billing process improvement initiative or system migration
- Familiarity with contract management and order-to-cash workflows
- Experience working cross-functionally with Sales, Legal, and Revenue Accounting team
