Senior Barista for SM Branch

ALPHA BUENA CORP. is seeking a dedicated and experienced Senior Barista to support the daily operations of our coffee shop and uphold the company's standards in beverage quality, customer service, and operational excellence. The Senior Barista will be responsible for the consistent preparation and presentation of coffee and other beverages according to established recipes and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), proper operation and basic maintenance of coffee equipment, order accuracy, and maintaining a clean, organized, and sanitary work environment. The role will also assist with opening and closing procedures, inventory monitoring, and ensuring efficient service during peak operating hours.

As a senior member of the team, the Senior Barista will provide guidance and support to Baristas, assist in training and onboarding new team members, and help ensure consistent compliance with company policies, product standards, and operating procedures. The ideal candidate possesses strong coffee knowledge, leadership and communication skills, attention to detail, reliability, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced coffee shop environment. Previous experience as a Barista, preferably with experience in a Senior Barista or supervisory capacity, is required.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years of experience in the coffee shop, food & beverage, or related industry.
• Previous experience as a Barista or Senior Barista is required.
• Strong knowledge of coffee preparation, espresso, brewing, and beverage standards.
• Knowledge of SOPs, food safety, sanitation, and proper equipment handling.
• Strong leadership, communication, customer service, and teamwork skills.
• Detail-oriented, reliable, and able to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Willing to work shifting schedules, weekends, and holidays.
• Leadership or supervisory experience is an advantage.
