Build and scale backend systems that can handle tens of thousands of transactions per second.
Design clean, well-structured APIs (REST & gRPC) that developers love.
Work with modern stacks (NestJS, Node.js, Golang, PostgreSQL, DynamoDB, Redis, AWS EKS).
Solve challenges around scalability, reliability, and security in high-throughput systems.
Collaborate with product, platform, and security teams in a full-cycle ownership model—you build it, you run it.
Take part in architecture design, code reviews, and shaping technical decisions that define the platform.
Participate in a shared on-call rotation to ensure the reliability and availability of critical services (with proper support, tooling, and escalation policies in place).
Minimum Qualifications
What We're Looking For
3+ years of backend engineering experience (startup or high-growth environment a plus).
Strong skills in Node.js, Golang, or similar backend languages.
Experience with databases (Postgres, NoSQL) and scalable schema design.
Strong skills with Docker, Kubernetes, and AWS—including services such as EKS (orchestration), RDS (PostgreSQL), ElastiCache (Redis), Secrets Manager, and IAM.
Experience working in regulated environments (PCI DSS, SOC 2, or equivalent) and building security/compliance-ready systems.
Passion for performance, clean code, and automation.
Startup mindset: resourceful, curious, adaptable, and motivated to make an impact.
Bonus Points For
Deep experience in fintech or payments infrastructure.
Knowledge of observability tools (Datadog, Prometheus, Grafana).
Prior work on distributed or ultra-high-throughput systems.
