Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Senior Accountant to join our client's finance team in a remote capacity. Reporting directly to the CFO, this role offers significant exposure to a complex multi-entity organization and the opportunity to help strengthen and scale the finance function.

  • Schedule: Monday to Friday, 7 AM – 4 PM (PH Time)
  • Work Set up: Onsite
  • Salary range: PHP 65,000 - 90,000

In this role, you will: 

Financial Operations

  • Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable processes across multiple entities
  • Perform bank, balance sheet, and intercompany reconciliations
  • Investigate and resolve accounting discrepancies and exceptions
  • Maintain accurate financial records and supporting documentation
  • Assist with month-end and year-end accounting activities

Reporting & Analysis

  • Support the preparation of management reports and financial analysis
  • Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow reporting
  • Support BAS preparation and compliance activities
  • Assist with financial reporting across multiple entities
  • Provide clear financial insights to support business decision-making

Business Support

  • Liaise with branch managers and operational staff across multiple business units
  • Assist with finance system administration and process improvement initiatives
  • Provide direct support to the CFO on financial and operational projects
  • Contribute to scalable finance processes that support future growth
  • Handle financial information with a high level of confidentiality, integrity, and data security awareness

Requirements:
  • Minimum 5 years experience in an accounting, finance, or senior accounts role
  • Accounting degree, bookkeeping qualification, or equivalent practical experience
  • CPA, CA, ACCA, or equivalent qualification, completed or in progress
  • Strong understanding of accounts payable, accounts receivable, reconciliations, and general accounting principles
  • Experience supporting month-end reporting and financial management processes
  • Experience assisting with budgeting, forecasting, and management reporting
  • Previous experience supporting Australian businesses, including familiarity with GST, BAS preparation, Australian accounting practices, and multi-entity structures

Technical Skills:

  • Strong Microsoft Excel skills, including reporting, data analysis, and reconciliation functions
  • Experience using MYOB Acumatica / MYOB Advanced
  • Experience working with ERP and business management systems
  • Exposure to operational or point-of-sale platforms such as Megabus Marlin GTX, Pronto, MCS, or similar systems
  • Experience using Microsoft 365, including Outlook, Excel, Teams, SharePoint, and OneDrive
