Job Description

Job Overview:

The Senior Auditor (Senior Associate) is responsible for performing and coordinating audit engagements, ensuring high-quality, compliant, and efficient service delivery that aligns with client expectations and professional standards.

In addition to client-facing responsibilities, the Senior Associate works closely with Associate Directors to support operational initiatives, through knowledge sharing, process improvement, and other team initiatives, while actively participating in technical training programs to maintain current knowledge of industry developments and firm methodologies.

Work Schedule:

  • 4:00 PM to 1:00 AM Manila Time – Mondays to Fridays

Work Setup:

  • Hybrid

Office Assignment:

  • MAKATI OFFICE: 22F Tower 1, One Ayala Corporate Center, Ayala Ave., Makati City

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

Operations (Client-Facing / Audit Work):

  • Performs and coordinates audit engagements, ensuring financial statements are accurate, complete, and compliant with applicable regulatory and reporting frameworks.
  • Assists in audit planning and coordinates the execution and completion of audit engagements in accordance with firm methodology, including risk assessment, workpaper preparation, and timely completion of audit deliverables.
  • Communicates audit findings to Managers, identifying audit issues, internal control deficiencies, and potential risks, while escalating significant matters as appropriate.
  • Coordinates with engagement teams and client personnel to facilitate audit execution, resolve audit issues, and ensure timely completion of assigned work.

Administrative:

  • Supports internal administrative functions that facilitate day-to-day engagement delivery, ensuring compliance with company policies and internal controls.
  • Participates in knowledge-sharing initiatives, technical training sessions, and process
  • improvement activities that enhance team capability and service quality.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Accountancy or related field
  • Years of Experience: At least three (3) years of audit experience
  • Industry Exposure: Strong understanding of Philippine Financial Reporting Standards (PFRS)
  • Technical Skills: Proven experience in planning, executing, and completing audit engagements, including risk assessment, internal control review, and substantive testing
  • Soft Skills: Demonstrates initiative and collaboration capability; ability to work independently with minimal supervision in a fast-paced, highly automated environment with strict reporting deadlines
  • Accounting System/ Software experience or knowledge: Proficiency in audit and accounting systems with ability to adapt to new platforms and technology-enabled workflows
  • Certificates or Licenses: Certified Public Accountant (CPA)
  • Language Requirements: Strong verbal and written communication skills in English
