Unlock Your Potential!
At TOA Global, we have a deep commitment to empowering individuals to excel in their enterprises, careers, and communities. Our global footprint stretches across Australia, New Zealand, North America, and the Philippines, supporting our global clients across the accounting, finance, and professional services industries.
We are looking for a driven and detail-obsessed Senior Auditor to join our team, supporting an elite and highly respected Australian professional services firm known for its commitment to quality and client excellence. In this role, you will be the critical execution link between the corporate audit team and client operations-leading audit engagements at the fieldwork level, guiding junior staff, and taking technical ownership of complex audit areas. Operating directly out of our modern facility, this position is custom-built for a disciplined assurance professional who thrives in a highly structured environment and is ready to accelerate their career on an international scale.
Your Impact
- Own the Floor & Client Liaison: Take charge of day-to-day audit management at client premises, serving as the direct operational liaison between the firm, client management, and key accounting staff to secure outstanding documentation.
- Complex Territory Execution: Lead advanced audit procedures across technically demanding accounting areas-including complex debt instruments, equity accounting, multi-entity consolidations, and going concern assessments.
- Proactive Planning: Prepare comprehensive requirement listings at least two weeks ahead of interim or year-end fieldwork, completing critical planning sections at interim phases to ensure workpapers are polished and ready for Manager review.
- Mentor in Motion: Formulate constructive review notes, audit the files compiled by Accountants and Graduates, provide clear daily technical guidance, and actively support their professional development.
- Engagement & Budget Stewardship: Complete assigned audit areas within strict agreed timelines, proactively communicating with the Audit Manager when files are ready for high-level review. Manage your own utilization and budgetary impacts efficiently.
- Finish Strong: Assist with final completion procedures, cross-verify compliance benchmarks, and prepare and review complex corporate financial statements with strict attention to accuracy.
What You Bring
- The Experience:Minimum of 3 years of demonstrated external audit experience, with solid exposure gained within a professional services or public practice accounting environment.
- Tech-Savvy Auditing: Proficient operational capability across Caseware, Xero, and MYOB ecosystems, backed by an excellent working command of the full Microsoft Office Suite.
- The Credentials: A Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a closely related commercial discipline. Being CA/CPA qualified-or actively pursuing your certification-is highly desirable.
- Analytical Problem Solver: A solutions-first professional who can identify, analyze, and resolve technical reporting issues effectively before they impact final reporting timelines.
- Details Matter: A track record of consistently delivering high-quality working papers with limited rework required-your attention to detail is your professional calling card.
- Clear Communicator: Superior written and verbal English communication skills, with the personal confidence to present information clearly, logically, and persuasively to international corporate stakeholders.
- Resilient Team Amplifier: A collaborative go-getter who navigates professional challenges with flexibility, contributes positively to a high-performance team culture, and pursues clear professional goals with genuine initiative.
