Department Overview

Our Shared Services Center (SSC) in the Philippines plays a key role in supporting global audit engagements, by delivering standardized, efficient, and high-quality audit procedures and tasks, contributing to the growth and success of our clients. We are looking for a senior auditor to join our SSC team and contribute to the execution of our audit engagements, being part of an audit team lead from Spain. This is not just an outsourcing. It is an opportunity to strengthen our audit capabilities and ensure excellent delivery service to our clients.

The audit profession is undergoing constant transformation, driven by globalization, digitalization, and increasing regulatory demands. We strongly believe that the SSC model represents the future of the audit, making this an exceptional opportunity to be part of it.

We are looking to expand our team due to our exponential growth. This position will give you exposure to some exciting industries such as retail, industrial & manufacturing and services, of multinational Spanish clients. We are looking for passionate individuals, who are self-motivated, interested in the audit practice, capable of using their own initiative and have the ability to plan, control and complete audit engagements for a diverse portfolio of clients.

Main responsibilities:

  • Lead, under the supervision and instructions of the responsible of the projects, with the execution of audit engagements, including planning, fieldwork, and reporting phases, across a range of clients from smaller entities to large and complex companies/groups, mainly headquartered in Spain.
  • Perform detailed audit procedures, testing of controls, and substantive testing.
  • Supporting audit engagements ensuring high-quality work.
  • Develop an understanding of clients business environments.
  • Ensure audit work complies with professional standards, firm policies, and regulatory requirements, delivering timely.
  • Implement audit methodologies and tools to enhance audit efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Assume a key role within the engagements.
  • Engage in ongoing training and professional development to stay current with changes in auditing standards, regulations, and industry best practices.
  • Ambassador of the firm, when interacting with our clients.

Skills and attributes:

  • Minimum 3 years experience required.
  • Qualified or progress accountant (ACA, ACCA, CPA or similar qualification preferred); at minimum, graduate of Bachelor of Science in Accountancy with progress towards a professional qualification.
  • Ability to effectively use remote communication tools.
  • Strong organizational and methodological skills.
  • Strong experience in audit engagements.
  • Experience in a top 20 practice.
  • Worked with a diverse portfolio of clients.
  • Capable of working on your own initiative.
  • Committed with the responsibility assigned and want to pursue a career in practice.
  • High work capacity and ability to work under pressure and dynamic environments.
  • Ability to anticipate issues.
  • Strong interpersonal skills.
  • Strong ability to interact effectively with culturally diverse clients and teams.
  • Spanish language skills will be considered a plus.

On-site: at least 6 to 7 days per month

Office Location: Salcedo Makati

Shift: Mid, 5PM onwards

Target Onboarding: September, 1st week
