Salary: PHP 110,000 to PHP 150,000

The Qualifications We Seek

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related field; CPA, CA, or relevant accounting certification is preferred
  • At least 5 years of direct Australian tax accounting experience, ideally within an accounting firm, tax practice, or public practice environment
  • Proven end-to-end experience in Australian tax compliance, tax advisory support, and financial reporting
  • Strong experience preparing and reviewingBAS, IAS, FBT, company tax returns, partnership returns, trust returns, and year-end financial statements
  • Strong technical knowledge of Australian tax legislation, ATO compliance, and complex tax matters, including Division 7A, CGT, GST, FBT, partnerships, and trusts
  • Hands-on experience with Australian accounting platforms such as Xero, MYOB, QuickBooks, or similar systems, plus strong Excel skills for reconciliations, reporting, and financial analysis
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to research and resolve tax and accounting issues independently
  • Excellent attention to detail, deadline management, organizational skills, and discretion when handling confidential financial information
  • Strong written and verbal English communication skills for client and team coordination
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively in a remote team setup
  • Background in Australian accounting firms or tax/public practice is preferred over general accounting, BPO, or shared services experience

What Your Role Will Look Like

  • Manage day-to-day bookkeeping for multiple clients, including bank reconciliations, accounts payable/receivable, payroll, and monthly management reports
  • Prepare and lodge individual, company, BAS, IAS, and FBT returns accurately and on time
  • Prepare financial statements for companies, trusts, and partnerships while ensuring compliance with Australian accounting standards and legislation
  • Prepare trust tax returns and distribution statements, ensuring alignment with trust deeds and tax requirements
  • Support SMSF accounting by preparing financial statements, annual returns, and coordinating with auditors where required
  • Manage ASIC compliance tasks, including statement deadlines, solvency declarations, and company detail updates
  • Identify and implement process improvements using cloud accounting systems and workflow tools to improve efficiency
  • Communicate professionally with clients and team members through email, video calls, and project management platforms
  • Respond to client queries promptly and manage deadlines proactively
  • Provide administrative support when required and assist junior team members through guidance, review, and knowledge sharing
