What You'll Bring to the Table
- 5-8+ years of experience in credit analysis, loan assessment, mortgage support, broker assistance, or a related finance role
- Minimum of 1 year of credit analysis experience within an Australian credit or loan assessment environment
- Required hands-on experience lodging Australian loan applications through ApplyOnline
- Required experience using servicing calculators to determine borrowing capacity, affordability, and lending suitability
- Strong knowledge of Australian loan application workflows, credit assessment, loan structuring, lender policies, approval requirements, NCCP, responsible lending obligations, and mortgage compliance standards
- Experience assessing complex borrower profiles, including PAYG, self-employed, trust, company, SMSF, and multi-income scenarios
- Skilled in compiling, reviewing, and submitting complete loan application files and credit-ready applications
- Working knowledge of Australian credit, CRM, or application workflow platforms such as Salestrekker, Mercury Nexus, FLEX, or similar tools
- Strong ability to review lender policies, recommend suitable loan options, and ensure accurate application submissions
- Excellent analytical, documentation, attention to detail, accuracy, verbal communication, and written communication skills
- Highly preferred: exposure to major banks, non-bank lenders, second-tier lenders, pricing requests, annual reviews, post-settlement tasks, portfolio reviews, high-volume mortgage processing, credit support, or lending operations
Your Daily Impact
- Perform servicing, borrowing capacity, affordability, and suitability calculations using standard lending tools and credit assessment methods
- Assess different borrower profiles, including employed, self-employed, trust, company, SMSF, and multi-income scenarios
- Review lending policies and requirements to support well-structured and credit-ready application recommendations
- Manage application workflows from document collection and verification through submission
- Prepare, validate, and lodge complete applications using online lodgement platforms
- Review compliance documents, forms, and supporting requirements to ensure completeness and accuracy
- Coordinate with internal teams, external partners, applicants, and other relevant stakeholders throughout the application process
- Provide application updates, follow up on outstanding requirements, and manage next-step actions
- Work with credit and assessment teams to support application progress and approval outcomes
- Track application status, monitor pending items, and follow up on outstanding conditions
- Support approval, settlement coordination, and related documentation requirements
- Assist with post-settlement activities, including pricing reviews, annual reviews, and portfolio-related tasks
