- Proven experience preparing BAS and IAS reports for Australian businesses
- Experience compiling TPAR data for reportable industries
- Advanced Xero experience is required; Xero Advisor Certification is preferred
- Hands-on experience using Dext and third-party accounting integrations
- Strong experience managing complex reconciliations, multi-currency transactions, and inventory accounting
- Strong Excel or Google Sheets skills, including pivot tables and advanced formulas
- Diploma in Accounting or higher is required
- Excellent written communication skills for professional client correspondence
- Must be available to start immediately
Key Responsibilities
- Manage accounts payable processes, including Dext bill capture, GST and tracking codes, PO matching, payment runs, and AP ledger reconciliation
- Code daily bank and PSP transactions, identify anomalies, and raise clear queries for resolution
- Perform complex reconciliations across multi-currency wallets, inventory/COGS bridges, payment gateways, balance sheet accounts, fixed assets, and GL records
- Handle accounts receivable activities, including invoice issuance, statement sending, overdue balance follow-ups, and credit control support
- Support month-end close by posting accruals, prepayments, depreciation, and FX revaluations, then locking completed periods
