As a Senior ATR Specialist you will ensure the delivery of quality Accounting to Reporting (AtR) services to the entities in scope in line with agreed Best Possible Process and the Epiroc Way. Besides performing day to day activities, you will continuously look for improvement opportunities in processes and ways of working, while using digitalization and Robotic Process Automation as an enabler to achieve further efficiencies.
You will coach and support your colleagues to achieve maximum performance and at the same time ensure that agreed procedures are maintained and adhered to within the team. You will contribute to an excellent communication flow with stakeholders in the region and relevant parts of the global organization.
Job Description
- Lead accounting and reporting processes, preparation of all IFRS based Group reports and other finance documents.
- Support Business Areas and Finance team by providing professional advices regarding accounting and reporting
- Ensure compliance to IFRS and Group standards, Business Code of Practice
- Establish proper level of controls over accounting and reporting processes, actively participate in policies and procedures implementation.
- Actively participate in process and systems improvements and development
- Strive for continuous improvement of efficiency of people and processes in responsible areas.
- Document Standard Operating Procedures
- Work with internal and external auditors
- Prepare period end closing accounting reports.
- Prepare and analyze monthly reconciliations of balance sheet accounts
- Actively participate and sometimes lead the internal accounting and reporting projects, including international ones
- Participate in the maintenance and continuous improvement of our Triple Certification Systems:
- Health and Safety of all employees, customers, and contractors as your first priority per ISO 45001:2018 and RA 11058
- Reducing our impact upon the Environment with ISO 14001:2015
- Consistency in Quality service delivery using ISO 9001:2015
Education & Experience Prerequisites
- Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Business Administration or related field is required, as well as proven extensive knowledge in IFRS
- Solid accounting and finance experience, ideally within multinational companies
- Proficiency in English and excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Expertise in Microsoft Office tools (Outlook, Excel and PowerPoint), and ERP systems like M3 or SAP is essential
